An illustration and photoshopped work of a poker-faced young man. The light and dark aspects, such as the contrasting leaves and different colour tones, are metaphors to various moments in life; the light representing the good, and the dark representing the bad. The image of the male is a loose depiction of myself, embracing the good and trying to deflect the bad. I wanted to give it a grim, emotional and mystical portrait-esque appeal, so I felt that an illustration like this suited the mould. 

This image is part of my development of character designs and style that I am wanting to establish in the future, and one of my first designs with Adobe Illustrator; this managed to become one of the better results.
